... Oops. This isn't where I'm supposed to be.

Let's see where to start? It's complicated to explain, so let's just say... My world is going to be possibly destroyed.

[sprawling on the other couch] I'd say that's not a good thing. Is there any way to stop it from happening?

If we can find the perpetrator behind it all, but we've got no leads. And also, my friend and I are his targets.

Dante-san? I don't think it ever occurred to me that my world could be destroyed.

I hate to say it, but if you're his targets, then you won't have to find him. He'll find you.

... It's not something I ever wanted to believe either. But some people don't care what kind of destruction they cause, as long as they get what they want.

... That's what I think too.

This guy who's causing all this... His name is Aion and his goal is to basically destroy our current world because it's evil and incomplete. At least that's what he thinks because he's the so called 'True God.'

"True God" my ass. Why does everyone want to be a god?

Beats me. I guess some people can't handle the world before them.

I told you about the Fragments before I believe. A special soul that can only be found in certain people like me. It's weird, but from what the Professor told us, it's believed that they are pieces of the 'true world.'

But if they're taken away, the person is turned into a Virus. It's really horrible...

That sounds pretty bad.

So this guy has to collect the Fragments to destroy and rebuild your world.?

There's... Also a path that they're trying to find to that true world.

... My friend- Lucia-san-- and I are the ones who he's trying to use. I'm the "Key" and she's the "Gate."

I-It's so strange to think about it right now. I'm one of the possible factors of destroying my world and here I am in another one. Should I even try to make sense of this?

Probably not. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense.

At least you're aware of what's going on. I accidentally helped Vergil when he was trying to destroy our world.

Do you think that means that if Lucia-san was here, we'd be able to destroy other worlds...? That would be very disconcerting if that was true...

...! Oh, yes Vergil-san... Is he...?

I'm no expert on different worlds, but I don't think it works that way. Seems like each world would be made differently, with different magic or whatever.

... He's not here. I guess he's back in the demon world.

[shrugging] He made his choice. At least I got to see him again on the island.

If it's anything to you Dante-san... I'm sure you'll see him again.

What now though...? I was pretty much unprepared for this to happen. Landing in a completely different universe I mean.

I'm not sure. I guess it's possible that whatever dropped you in my closet will grab you back up again.

And if not, hey, I could always use a partner.

[looking back at the closet doubtfully] Something tells me that won't work or maybe I'm just being negative.
